Avoid distractions

Some people are just mega organized and appear to fit twice as much into their day as us mere mortals manage. If you are like me, I allow distractions to creep into our life. I end up getting nothing done. You probably know what distracts you most often. Whether it is checking your face book or email relentlessly, you are distracted. You might browse the web rather than researching, watching "just a bit more" television, or talking on the cell phone it delay or stop you completely from your goals.

It is time to change and get more organized. Do not go cold turkey and cut out all your vises altogether but do restrict yourself to certain times and an overall weekly allowance. Sure, you might go over the allowance occasionally but you will still spend less time on the distraction than you did before.

  1. To avoid unnecessary distractions, one must have an itinerary for the day and he must focus on that, doing one thing at a time. Activities must also be prioritized so that the more important things will be done first before the non essentials tasks. The unfinished tasks are then carried over to the next day where all planned activities will again be subject to priorities. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
